Emerie's Photoshoot with Mom

I love photography and have missed so much in my hiatus from it since having a baby! I was able to shoot a wedding (coming soon) and then I took some of my little girl! Little walkers are no longer posers so we were on the move for most of the time but it was so much fun!

Emerie at 10 Months

You are so big and smart and have grown so much the last month! Here are some of the highlights!

-You are a little explorer these days which means nothing is safe around here. We have had two BIG messes one was when you pulled Easter egg dye all over you and dad and the second is when you smother our floor in lotion!
- You are a very fast walker and can dribble a soccer ball with ease! You have no fear it seems like with walking and even the occasional baby "run"!
-We can officially see your top four teeth when you smile and you are starting to break another bottom tooth.  Sheesh!  It is starting to look like your nursi days might be coming to an end soon...  That being said, I thought you were starting to get over nursing, but right now you really love it.  Go figure.
-You are a chatty cathy!  You are making noise all day long.  I know you think you are saying stuff, but we only catch a few words here and there.  You definitely say Da-Da, Ma-Ma, and Be-Be. You are getting better at identifying words we say.  You also have become a very social laugher! Whenever others are laughing you automatically copy us and join along which definitely insures more laughter!
- When you are really excited, you clinch your fists really tight and give big cheesy smiles.  It is so funny.
-  You wave to everyone and you also clap when you think you've done something worth some praise!
-  You are OBSESSED with smaller kids! We were at a restaurant after dad's graduation and there was a little boy there and you followed him around just giggling and laughing at anything he did. You do that with most kids and they often don't know what to think about it!
-  You really dig adult food these days.  We pretty much feed you whatever we
- You are a Dancing Queen.  You have a variety of moves to include the full body sway, the head shake, and the booty shake.
-  When we read to you, you love to help turn the pages and point at the pictures.  You will even pick up a book from the floor and "read"/point at the pictures all by yourself.
- You love to play games.   You like to be chased and you like to play coy when you know we are sneaking up on you.  You are a clever little lady.
-  You are a little ham for people out in public.  You like to wave and smile at everyone that gives you attention.  Sometimes you are selective though on who gets waves and who doesn't.  I am not sure if you are shy or just picky.
There have been a couple occasions this month where we have had to correct you in some way.  Your sweet little face just drops and you recognize that what you did was disappointing to us.  It is interesting to see your conscience work at such a young age.
- You had your first Easter and it was so much fun to watch you hunt for eggs at Grandma Eddington's house. You would go around and find them and put them in your little basket it was so cute!
