Baby Blessing

On October 11, 2015 we blessed our sweet little guy! We were lucky to have both of our parents come out and be a part of the blessing.  We were so grateful for their sacrifice and loved having them here with us as we blessed Lucas. We know that for our future kids it may not always work out this way so we extra enjoyed ourselves.

We kept it simple with just our dads, our neighbor Sam Vaughn and other friend Nate Evanson. The Vaughn's and Evanson's have really been so wonderful to us and have really gone out of their way to help us transition to our new life out here. We have been so grateful for their friendship and really wanted them to be in the circle with Nathan as he gave the blessing.

Nathan gave the sweetest blessing. I am so grateful to him and the priesthood that he holds. I truly feel the things he blessed Lucas with were specifically for him and came from our Heavenly Father and I love this Gospel for that!

My dad took the rest of these pictures (except the last one... thanks Sam!) and he did a really good job. Maybe that's what you can take up in retirement dad?!
